Camping Power Packs

For a tent or a campervan that does not have wired in electrics, you'll need something called a Camping Power Supply or Power Pack. The weatherproof round socket end (usually blue) clicks in to the park hookup box and then the other end of the cable with household sockets goes into the tent/van for you to plug your appliances into.

Please note we don't supply or hire out these packs so you will need to bring your own, or we sell them in the Park shop.

*These purpose made power supplies have RCD safety cut outs and we do not recommend using home made cables that don't have this safety feature*

Electric Hook Up Connection Cables

For a Touring Caravan or Motorhome with 'built in' electrics the type of cable used to connect to the Park electricity supply has a round (usually blue) weatherproof socket at either end similar to the one pictured here.

Our hookup boxes are situated on or near the pitches so usually a 5m or 10m length cable is adequate.

Touring Pitch FAQ

We are a short stay holiday park so we don't have any seasonal pitches.

Our pitches vary slightly but on average are 11 - 13m accross, and 10 - 11m front to back.

Yes. We just ask that common sense safety precautions are taken and that if you are using the foil tray disposable barbecues that you raise them off the ground to prevent scorching the grass. There are some bricks behind the reception building, you are welcome to borrow some from there to use.

Fire pits, chimneas etc are prohibited.....Burning of wood in any container is strictly prohibited.

In addition to offensive smoke it emits hot sparks and ash that travel high into the air, posing a serious fire risk.

A 'Power Pack' which has an outdoor, round, usually blue coloured connector on one end of a cable which locks into the field socket, and on the other end of the cable are the sockets that you plug your appliances into. An indoor extension lead does not connect to the field sockets.
